The search and rescue operation for Awang Sopihan bin Hj Tamit and Awang Said bin Chuchu, two locals lost at sea after their boat capsized last Sunday, Dec 18, is still ongoing. The operation is being carried out by Brunei Shell Company rescue teams, navy, police marine and the public and aided by RBAF helicopters.

Awang Chuchu, the father of the victim who was at the Pantai Jerudong boat landing area, said as of yesterday afternoon, there was still no news or sign of the victims nor their boat and rescue teams have asked from a neighbouring country to track the victims should they drift into their waters.
