NEW YORK -- The Defense Department announced the following contracts Friday.

 

Royal Dutch/Shell (RD) Shell Oil Products U.S. unit received a $472.9 million economic price adjustment contract for JP-5 and JP-8 jet fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Contract performance will also be completed in Deer Park, TX, by April 30, 2006.

 

Premcor Inc. (PCO) Refining Group Inc. unit is being awarded a maximum $58.2 million fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Contract performance will also be completed in Lima, Ohio. The contract is slated for completion by April 30, 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of fiscal year 2006.

 

Tesoro Corp.'s (TSO) refining and marketing unit received a maximum $34 million fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Contract performance also will be completed in Mandan, ND. Performance completion date is April 30, 2006. Contract funds will expire at the end of fiscal year 2006.

 

Rockwell Collins Corp.'s (COL) government systems unit in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, received an $11.1 million modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract to exercise an option for AN/ARC-210(V) electronic protection radio systems. The work will be completed in January 2006.

 

General Dynamics Corp.'s (GD) General Dynamics Decision Systems unit received a $5.76 million modification under previously awarded contract for the Unit Operations Center program. This modification includes non-recurring engineering change proposal in the cost-plus-fixed-fee amount of $4.42 million. This modification also includes $1.34 million cost-plus-fixed-fee field engineering services to support assets in the theater of operations. The work should be completed by September 2005.

 

The company's land systems unit received a $6.75 million firm-fixed-price contract for 39 different spare parts for the continuous electronics evolution program for the M1A2 tank. That work will be completed by November 2006.

 

Honeywell International Inc. (HON) received a delivery order worth $846,600 as part of a $7 million contract for the Utility Blackhawk UH-60 system. Work is expected to be completed by March 22, 2010.
