MADRID (AFX) - Repsol YPF SA has hired UBS to design a competitive bid for Royal Dutch/Shell Group's LPG unit in Spain, Expansion reported, without naming its source.
Expansion said Repsol YPF is seeking financial alliances to join its offer for the LPG unit, valued at 2-3 bln eur
Shell is targeting the sale of the assets in the second quarter of 2005, the newspaper said, noting that BP PLC and Total SA are also expected to bid.
