THE HUNGARIAN oil and gas company Mol is buying Shell's Romanian fuel distribution business in a deal analysts valued at about $50m (pounds 27m).
The sale includes 59 petrol stations and a smaller lubricants and aviation fuel business, enabling MOL to further expand its retail footprint in central Europe.
For Shell, the sale is part of a raft of disposals in a $10 to $12bn divestment programme that will help to boost exploration.
